But nature also took its wrath out in another, much less publicized location. On May 19 and 20 five mud and debris slides severely damaged Beartooth Highway (Highway 212), a two-lane road that connects Red Lodge, MT, with Yellowstone National Park. As a result, the firm ended up bringing on two extra Moxy MT31 trucks. The machines were the first two delivered to a job site from the Lawrenceville, GA-based Stafford Tractor Company since it took on the Moxy line. Komatsu America Moves Artic Truck Production to Tennessee →

From Construction Equipment Guide... Komatsu America Corp. moved the production of its 30- to 40-ton (27- to 36-t) articulated truck from Mooka, Japan, to Chattanooga, TN, in January. Joining production of Komatsu’s mid-size excavator line at the Chattanooga facility are the HM300-1, HM350-1 and HM400-1 articulated trucks used in earthmoving, road construction and quarry applications.
