Bridgestone Americas (Bridgestone) will showcase its portfolio of off-the-road (OTR) products and technologies at the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association Aggregates Academy and Expo (AGG1) and World of Asphalt 2018 Show and Conference, March 6-8 in Houston at booth #1352. A leader in the construction and aggregates tire industry, Bridgestone will demonstrate how the company's intelligent products, integrated technologies and best-in-class services work together to improve productivity and lower total cost of ownership for its customers.

"At Bridgestone, we are committed to making mobility more efficient and productive for our off-the-road customers through an increased focus on technology," said Bridget Neal, president, off-the-road, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations. "We look forward to showcasing our innovative technologies at the show and engaging with our aggregates and construction customers."

At the trade show, Bridgestone will for the first time showcase PressureStat, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) launched in January 2018 for OTR tires in the construction, quarry, underground hard rock and port industries. The PressureStat system provides instant access to important tire pressure and temperature data, allowing customers to accurately manage tire pressure on a real-time basis. In addition to the PressureStat system, Bridgestone also will display the following offerings at its booth:

  • TreadStatTM Tire and Rim Management Platform: The TreadStat tire and rim management platform includes a customizable dashboard, which allows owners and operators to monitor, optimize and report on tire and rim assets from any device, anywhere in the world. The TreadStat platform helps avoid tire-related downtime by allowing users to easily and accurately forecast, budget and manage their tire programs.
  • The Bridgestone VRQP E-4 Radial Tire: The Bridgestone V-Steel Rock Quarry Premium (VRQP) E-4 radial tire is designed specifically for rigid haul trucks operating in quarry environments. With the tough quarry environment in mind, the Bridgestone VRQP E-4 tire is designed with specialized features to maximize performance on jobsites, including extra-deep tread for longer tire life, an innovative tread design for improved traction and a reinforced shoulder design for reduced sidewall damage. The VRQP E-4 tire is available in 18.00R33and 24.00R35 sizes in the U.S. and Canada.
